The main stumbling block in the use of Curcumin as a nutritional supplement is its very poor bio availability.
When taken orally and in a powder form, just billionths of the quantity are absorbed by your body. According to Italian studies, these nanogram quantities of curcumin that are in the blood plasma are simply too low to have a substantive effect.
